A thorough hearing evaluation is the first step to ensuring you find the best solution for your specific needs. When you arrive, your audiologist will want to know about your concerns regarding your hearing, any other symptoms you may be experiencing and some details about your medical history. Following that you will move on to the hearing evaluation.
Hearing tests are painless and non-invasive. You will be tested in our sound-treated booth designed to keep out any other noises. You will be asked to wear headphones with wires connected to an instrument called an audiometer.
Once in the booth, your audiologist will provide instructions through your headphones. You will be asked to listen to tones at different pitches and volumes and push a button or raise your hand when you hear them. The test measures the very softest sounds you can hear at each frequency tested.

During the consultation, we will explain the results of your hearing evaluation and if you are a good candidate for hearing aids or not. If you would benefit from hearing aids, we will recommend the best options for your loss and help you understand what hearing aids can do to help you with your hearing loss.
You’ll be able to see and handle different styles of hearing aids. In some cases you may be able to try a hearing aid on in our office. We’ll walk you through the options for style, features, and technology and guide you through the selection process based on your preferences and budget.
Once you’ve selected your hearing aids, we may take custom impressions of your ears if required. Then we’ll place a customer order for your hearing aids and schedule an appointment to fit them when they arrive.

Paying the full cost upfront for a new hearing aid can be difficult, and with the rate of change in hearing technology many people are seeking the flexibility to upgrade their hearing aids on a regular basis. That’s why we’ve developed the North Ridge Lease-2-Hear program.
Lease-2-Hear is a unique program that brings excellent technology and ongoing hearing care to patients at a fixed low monthly cost.

How it works…
If you decide to lease a hearing aid from us you will:
- Sign a lease agreement
- Pay $250 fitting fee
- Pay $250 deposit (includes first month’s rent)
Fill out automatic withdrawal form for $42 per month (per hearing aid) for 36 months
At the end of the 3 year lease period you can:
- Purchase the hearing aid for $250
- Return the hearing aid and be refunded your $250 deposit
- Put the $250 deposit towards an upgrade to a new hearing aid
Hearing Aid Repair
We are experts at diagnosing and repairing hearing aid issues. We can quickly repair your hearing aids and get you back to hearing your best, even if you didn’t purchase them from us.
Just bring in your hearing aids along with a description of the issue you’re having and we’ll let you know that cost and time frame for your repair.
